By downloading or using Battle Lens, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

The App

Battle Lens is a historical reference app that presents a curated encyclopedia of battles from antiquity to the present. It is intended for education, research, and general interest. It is not an academic source of record — the content is AI-assisted, confidence-rated, and should be verified for any serious use.

Battle Lens Pro

Battle Lens Pro is a one-time in-app purchase that unlocks search, advanced filters, bookmarks, audio narration, nearby battles, and the On This Day widget. There is no subscription. Pay once, keep forever on the Apple ID or Google account that made the purchase.

Refunds

Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their respective App Store / Google Play refund policies, depending on where you bought Pro. We can't process refunds directly — the store manages all billing.

Content

Battle records in Battle Lens are AI-curated from public sources including Wikipedia, Wikidata, and Wikimedia Commons. Image rights are attributed where known in the app's per-image copyright sheet. The content is provided for reference; we do not warrant that any individual record is complete or free of error.

Disclaimer

Battle Lens is provided "as is." Do not rely solely on Battle Lens for academic, professional, or legal decisions. It is a reference and starting point, not a primary source.

Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Mircules is not liable for any damages arising from the use of Battle Lens. Our liability is limited to the amount you've paid us in the last 12 months.

Intellectual Property

Battle Lens — including its design, code, and branding — is owned by Mircules. Historical content is drawn from public sources under their respective licences.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date. Continued use of Battle Lens after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes will be resolved in Dutch courts.
